Lovely high-ceiling bedroom with a cute view of the High Street from upstairs and a bay window. Beautifully renovated historical property with excellent heating system. Great location for vintage lovers with Georgian Tea Rooms & Antiques next door and Crosiers Butchers across the road. Easy access to provisions with everything close by.
Felt so comfortable, nothing was too much trouble.

The cottage was beautifully decorated with a charming traditional style that made me feel right at home. The general areas were comfortable and welcoming, especially the living room with its cozy log burning fire. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the cottage with its easy layout and amenities that catered to my needs.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation better for senior people is a more accommodating sitting area outside. While I understand the limitations of the property, having a small, private outdoor space would have been nice for enjoying the fresh air and relaxation.

This charming period cottage is situated on an interesting street in the historic old town, providing a lovely and surprisingly quiet location. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathroom is modern and to a high standard. The cottage is tastefully renovated with fixtures and fittings of a high quality. Additionally, the cottage was clean and well-presented, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
The stairs in the cottage, especially leading to the attic room, are steep and twisted, which may pose a challenge for those with limited mobility or balance.

I absolutely adored the charming period cottage and its tasteful renovation. The fixtures and fittings were of a high standard, and the attention to detail was remarkable. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the comfortable and accessible decor throughout the hotel. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a cozy atmosphere for relaxation.
My only suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have more assistance available from the children working there.

The location was fantastic, close to the vintage treasure trove of The Georgian Tea Rooms & Antiques, as well as Crosiers Butchers with its amazing original interior. Lovely cottage in a cute little town. The pubs nearby are a must-visit, especially the one with a vegan restaurant. The location is surprisingly quiet despite being close to the road. The cottage itself is cozy and has everything you need, including a nice-sized shower. The Halloween decorations during our stay were a nice touch.
The stairs were a bit steep and twisted, so be careful. Not much privacy in the shared backyard.
